Create and manage smart podcast feeds
Overview
Use Smart podcast feeds to automatically curate a list of audio articles or summaries based on your criteria.
Create a Smart podcast feed
To create a Smart podcast feed:
Go to
Project > Distribution > Podcast Feeds
.
Click
+ Podcast Feed
.
Enter a title for your podcast.
Enter a description for your podcast.
Upload a cover image for your podcast.
Enter a URL for your podcast.
Select
Smart
.
Add Categories and Tags to your podcast.
Add Author and Owner details.
Select the language of your podcast.
Check whether your podcast contains explicit content.
Click
Continue
.
Your podcast feed will be created and you’ll be redirected to the podcast feed editor.
Whenever you create a podcast feed, a playlist will be created automatically.
Curate a Smart podcast feed
To curate a Smart podcast feed:
By default, your Smart podcast feed will include all articles in your project.
Click
Set rules
.
Click
+ Rule
.
Select the field you want to filter by. This will be based on your arricle metadata. By default it will include author, title, and published date.
Choose the operator you want to use:
is
,
is not
,
contains
,
wildcard
.
Enter the value you want to filter by.
Click
Apply
.
You can add multiple rules and combine them using the
AND
operator.
Review the results and click
Save changes
.
Share your podcast feed
To share your podcast feed:
Click on the
Share
button.
Select the content type:
Articles
or
Summaries
.
Click
Copy RSS Feed URL
.
Publish the RSS Feed URL to your website or preferred podcast platforms.
You podcast feed will not be accessible unless you have set the visibility to
Public
.
