Use a premade voice

Go to voice preferences

In your project, go to Content → Preferences → Voices

Apply filters

Apply any filters you want to use. You can filter based on: 
  • Gender
  • Native or non-native
  • Language
  • Accent

Browse voices

You’ll see a list of voices that match your filters. Preview any voice by hovering on the colored icon and clicking the play button.

Choose default voices

Click Use voice to set the voice as the default for your Project. Or click the arrow to set the voice as the default for titles, body content, or summaries (scripts) individually.You may be required to select an ElevenLabs voice model.
Use the BeyondWords Editor to change the voice(s) used in a particular article.

Copy a voice_id

To copy the BeyondWords voice_id for a particular voice:
  1. Open your project
  2. Go to Content → Preferences → Voices
  3. Click the settings icon alongside your chosen voice
  4. If applicable, select the ElevenLabs voice model you’d like to use
  5. Click the “copy” icon alongside the Voice ID field

Customize a premade voice

To customize a voice, go to Content → Preferences → Voices in your project. Then click the settings icon alongside your chosen voice. You may need to select an ElevenLabs voice model before customizing the voice.

ElevenLabs voice models

When selecting an ElevenLabs voice, you may need to select a voice model to use. Available models include Turbo v2.5, Multilingual v2, and v3.

Switch the voice model for an active voice

  1. Open your project
  2. Go to Content → Preferences → Voices
  3. Click the settings icon alongside your chosen voice
  4. Select which voice model you’d like to use
  5. Click Save changes

Switch the voice model for a particular article

  1. Open your article in the BeyondWords Editor
  2. Go to the Voices tab
  3. Open the voices dropdown and select the settings icon alongside your chosen voice
  4. Select the voice model you’d like to use
