BeyondWords offers multiple authentication methods to help members access their accounts securely and conveniently. Depending on your organization’s setup, you can log in using a magic link, sign in with Google, SAML SSO, or multi-factor authentication. A magic link is a secure login link sent to your email address, which allows you to sign in without using a password. To log in with a magic link:
  1. Go to the BeyondWords login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click Continue with email
  4. Click the magic link in your email
Magic links are only valid for 10 minutes.

Sign in with Google

Sign in with Google allows you to log in securely using your Google account, without a password or magic link. To log in with Google:
  1. Go to the BeyondWords login page
  2. Click Sign in with Google
  3. Select your Google account and follow the sign-in prompts

SAML SSO

SAML SSO (Security Assertion Markup Language Single Sign-On) allows you to securely log in using your organization’s identity provider (IdP), such as Okta or Azure AD. This option is available to users on Enterprise plans.

Set up SAML SSO

1

Request SAML SSO

Reach out to request SAML SSO to be enabled.
2

Receive your setup link

We’ll share a unique configuration URL where you can connect your IdP. We support SAML 2.0-compliant providers including:
  • Okta
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • OneLogin
  • LastPass
  • Auth0
  • Bitium
3

Configure the connection

Follow your identity provider’s documentation to complete the SAML configuration using the URL we provide. If needed, we’re happy to assist with setup or troubleshooting.
4

Provision members in your IdP

Ensure all members are added to your IdP and assigned to the BeyondWords SAML application. Otherwise, they won’t be able to log in.
Once SAML SSO is enabled, all members of your organization will be required to log in via your identity provider. Other login methods will be disabled.

Log in with SAML SSO

To log in with SAML SSO:
  1. Go to the BeyondWords login page
  2. Click Continue with SAML SSO
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click Continue with SAML
  5. Follow the instructions to log in through your identity provider

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step when logging in.
