Get started with BeyondWords in five easy steps.

Step 1: Create a project

Articles are always converted into audio.

Step 2: Choose voices

Choosing the right AI voices is key to creating audio and video that reflects your brand and resonates with your audience. There are three main options:
  • Premade voices: Choose a ready-made voice from the ElevenLabs library
  • Voice generation: Generate a voice from a custom text prompt
  • Voice cloning: Clone an existing voice—use instant voice cloning for speed, or professional voice cloning for the highest quality
You can set a default voice for titles, body content, and summaries in your project. To override these defaults, use the Editor or API.

Step 3: Integrate your publishing platform

Integrations let BeyondWords automatically ingest your published articles, convert them into your chosen formats, and embed the player into your pages.
  • Magic Embed: The fastest way to get started—add a JavaScript snippet to automatically ingest articles and install the player
  • RSS Feed Importer: Import content from an RSS feed to automatically ingest newly published articles as they appear
  • API: Best for custom integrations—send content directly from your CMS or backend and manage updates programmatically
  • WordPress plugin: Automatically generate and embed audio and video versions of your posts
  • Ghost plugin: Automatically generate and embed audio and video versions of your posts
If you don’t want to integrate, you can import via URL or create articles in the Editor.

Step 4: Install and customize the player

The Magic Embed, WordPress, and Ghost integrations include web player installation. If you’re using the RSS Feed Importer or API, or looking to add the player elsewhere, you need to install the player separately using one of these methods:
  • JavaScript SDK: Use the embed script, NPM package, or JavaScript player SDK to add the player to your website
  • iOS SDK: Integrate the BeyondWords player into your iOS app
  • Android SDK: Integrate the BeyondWords Player into your Android app
Whatever integration method you use, customize the player to complement your branding.
