See how listeners are engaging with your audio content.
BeyondWords analytics show how listeners have been engaging with audio that has been manually or automatically embedded or shared via URL. This allows you to report on audio performance and can help you to optimize your audio strategy.
You can see:
Podcast platforms may provide metrics for your podcast feed (e.g. Analytics in Apple Podcasts Connect).
You can find project analytics (i.e. combined analytics for all audios in a project) in the 'Analytics (Overview)' section of your project dashboard. Use the dropdown menu or calendar icon in the top-right to change the time range for your results.
Enterprise users can use the paper plane icon to export analytics.
- Impressions: How many times your audio was loaded
- Listen rate: The percentage of impressions that resulted in plays
- Listens: The number of impressions that resulted in plays
- Unique listeners: The number of unique listeners that pressed play
- Listen time: Combined audio playback time
- Avg. listen duration: On average, how long a user listens for after pressing play (this is presented as a percentage in brackets)
- Plays (graph): The number of times that play was pressed, by date (this can be more than once per impression if the user pauses) — please note that this data is only available from 12 July 2021
- Device breakdown: The percentage of plays that occurred via desktop, tablet, or mobile, or via your iOS or Android app
You can find audio analytics (i.e. analytics for specific audios) in the 'Analytics (Audios)' section of your project dashboard. Select any audio to see its metrics in more detail, and use the dropdown menu or calendar icon in the top-right to change the time range for your results.

You can find account analytics (i.e. combined analytics for all projects) in the 'All projects (Account analytics)' section of your dashboard. Use the dropdown menu or calendar icon in the top-right to change the time range for your results. You can export with the the paper plane icon.
