Create a podcast feed

Learn how to create a podcast RSS feed and submit your audio to podcast directories.

This guide explains how to create a podcast feed for your BeyondWords project. This allows you to distribute your audio via podcast directories like Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify. Your feed will be automatically updated with processed audios (episodes).

💡

Want to create a podcast with selected audios only? Create a custom playlist and then distribute via podcast feed.

BeyondWords is one of the best podcast hosting sites because not only can you upload your own audio, but you can create podcasts from text.

  1. Go to the 'Distribution (Podcast feed)' section of your project dashboard

  2. Ensure the toggle is switched to 'Podcast feed is enabled'

  3. Complete the form using the information provided — see our guide to optimizing your podcast feed for advice

  4. When you have finished making changes, select 'Save'

You can now submit your podcast feed URL to directories like Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify Podcasts, and Google Podcasts.

However, you will need to ensure you have at least one audio in your project first. You can create audio by connecting your CMS, using the Text-to-Speech Editor, or uploading your own audio.
