Introduction
Capturing audience attention can be challenging. Our new background music feature enhances your audio articles with music that resonates with your audience and reinforces your sonic branding. This creates engaging and memorable experiences for your listeners, elevating your content, boosting engagement, and helping your audio stand out.
Enable background music
To get started, go to the Settings section of your project. At the top of your Settings, click on Background music. Activate the Background music enabled toggle.
Creating tracks
To upload, click on Create track and upload the audio file as .mp3 or .wav. Give your track a name.
Adjust the volume of your background track relative to your article. For subtle background music, we recommend 10% volume.
Define the scope for the background track – whether to apply it to articles in a specific project or articles in all projects.
When you have finished uploading, click Save changes.
Once uploaded, enable the toggle next to a track you want as your default track for audios in your project.
You can Edit or Delete uploaded tracks from the list of tracks.
Choosing tracks
You can upload several tracks in the dashboard but only one can be selected as the default track. To override the default track per content item, go to the Edit properties menu and select the preferred track for that content item from the Background music drop-down menu.
You will need to regenerate the audio once you've selected a new background track.
Test your background music To test the chosen track in your content item, click on the play button next to the content item or preview it via the <> dialog.
