Create a podcast feed

Learn how to create a podcast RSS feed and submit your audio to podcast directories.
This guide explains how to create a podcast feed for your BeyondWords project. This allows you to distribute your audio via podcast directories like Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify. Your feed will be automatically updated with the latest processed audios (episodes).

Want to create a podcast with selected audios only? Create a custom playlist and then distribute via podcast feed.

    Go to the 'Distribution (Podcast feed)' section of your project dashboard
  2. 2.
    Ensure the toggle is switched to 'Enabled'
  3. 3.
    Complete the form using the information provided — see our guide to optimizing your podcast feed for advice
  4. 4.
    When you have finished making changes, select 'Save'
  5. 5.
    Before submitting your podcast feed URL, you will need to ensure that your project contains at least one processed and published audio
You can now submit your podcast feed URL to the platforms of your choice. New audios will be added to the feed automatically.

How do I edit my podcast feed settings?
You can edit your podcast feed settings anytime, although it may take some time for changes to be reflected in podcast platforms:

    Go to the 'Distribution' section of your project dashboard
  2. 2.
    Go to the 'Podcast Feed' tab and edit the settings
  3. 3.
    When you have finished making changes, select 'Save changes'
Can I disable the podcast feed?
Yes, you can disable the podcast feed to prevent podcast directories from accessing your audios:

    Go to the 'Distribution (Podcast feed)' section of your project dashboard
  2. 2.
    Switch the toggle to 'Podcast feed is disabled'
  3. 3.
    Scroll to the bottom and select 'Save changes'
Can I review my audio before it is added to the feed?
If you would like to review your audio before it is added to the feed, you will need to disable automatic publishing.
